A set of three connectors and a cable key.

Screw one end of a Knitter's Pride Interchangeable Needle Cable into one side of the connector and screw one end of a second cable into the other -- this set allows you to combine two cables to make a longer cable.

Or use for situations where you want to move your work from one cable to another (for example to move a sweater from a short cable for easy knitting to a long cable when you want to let the work expand fully so you can try it on). This way you can just slide your work from one cable to another -- no need to slip stitches from one needle to another.
